#1 Unbelievable, but real...
This is clever. I would have thought maybe the sun warmth on her face would have given it away but seemingly not. I'm just writing an article on their VR training stuff for staff and showroom options for same.

awesome, what a good trick. I saw them at Goodwood Festival last year, not doing this but taking punters out on a circuit. I reckon they were trashing tyres in about 5 or 6 demos if that. They had a team changing wheels all the time. I sort of hope I never end up buying one of these ex demo inadvertently!

There was a fleet of them that were built pre-homologation - at least for the USA. They had an X in the VIN somewhere and as a consequence JLR were/are not allowed to sell them. They can give them away - possibly only for use off public roads, but they can't pass them down the trade like a demo. I selflessly let them know that the Crespin Museum would save them storage hassles by taking one, but for some reason they didn't bite my hand off.andrewh wrote: I sort of hope I never end up buying one of these ex demo inadvertently!

I saw that video Pete and its such a great bit of PR by JLR.
My wife and I have resisted the temptation to do that with our car except when we did Lemans classic 18 months ago and its was great fun but took miles of the treads

What fun! Wonder what would have happened if there had been a crash, and a passenger hurt? No disclaimer signed? Insurance? Could be pricey!
