Anyone know nut size for 10 and 5 way connector fixing to bonnet

If this is for the side-by-side multiconnector (looks like a harmonica) for the bonnet loom I'm pretty sure it's 6-32.

If you can't find any PM me as I have a bag of 20 I bought last time I had to do this.

I think its 5-32 not 6-32, which I didnt know existed. Its the equivalent of a 3/16 UNF from memory. Try Namrick in Brighton.

edit 6 - 32 is a UNC i reckon, and 5-32 is a UNF thread profile, which these are

No it's smaller than 3/16 UNF, which is 10-32.

I'm pretty sure 6-32 is the correct size as I have used the nuts on 2 restorations, and I wouldn't have bought 20 of the b@#%ards unless I needed them. I think... old age and memory is creeping up on me.

I think its me with the old age issue! you are of course quite correct, I was muddled! they are very small diameter as you say.

6-32 is a UNC size according to my charts anyway, whether they are UNC or UNF fixings I cannot be sure.

Yes, the UNF version is 6-40 I think.

These are for the two tiny studs inside the bonnet that the loom connector mounts to. Presumably they had to use such a small stud because the connector had that sized hole in it.
