Rear Wind deflectors

Morning all

Sitting here on holiday in the sunshine and constantly dreaming of getting home and driving the E-Type

One of the things my wife doesn't like is the way her hair get blown around with the top down, sadly I don't have too much of a problem in that respect. I noticed from the internet that you can buy the rear mesh screen to deflect the air, like the latest convertibles have, but I have only seen it advertised for the Series 3. I don't know if this is because it's a longer body, but does anyone know if you can get one for a
Series 2 ?

I want to justify extended use and this would help.

Lister Dave Kerr makes them. His has a curtain below to stop the big draughts that can come in under a deflector.

+1 for the Dave Kerr unit. Had one for years and it makes a big difference.

Sorry, not used one on an E Type. But have fitted one to my Porsche 968...it was a revolution for the fairer sex with long hair. Before fitting you needed to speak loudly to each other above 60 mph, above 80 you had to shout and above 100...use hand signals. Now normal conversation can still be had up to 100 mph. And then there is the unruffled hair. Its a win win, I would not hesitate to fit one.

Currently discussing the possibility of a series 3 version of David's windbreak. Reports of the item are good and will happily let the forum know want I think about it. David does seem to be very busy, good sign that the windbreak seems to be well received. It wa meationed in the original post that series 3 versions re available, when I looked I could not find any.
