Trying to get the low down on a firm called "Pitt Lane", based in Winchester. Look good on line, and the chap I spoke to at Goodwood where they had a stand seemed ok, but was wondering if anyone here had used them for for either mechanical or body work?

Malcolm - I'll be interested in any replies - I too am interested in using them. I telephoned and spoke to Harvey and will be going to see them once I get to the stage where the bonnet does need their attention.......

Thanks Geoff, certainly seem good for bodywork then. Wondering about mechanics still, but in most cases a firm good in one aspect is good in other areas they deal with as well in my experience.

I used them for a bare metal re-spray on my S3. Well, it started that way, then 'whilewerehereitis' set in, and I asked them to go much further with engine and g/box removal, detailing etc etc.
Finished autumn last year.
Mechanical side handled by Mark, but Harvey oversees, and is the day to day point of contact.
Great guys to deal with. Very concerned that the job is right, and the client is happy. Scrupulously honest.
It was lovely that their OCD for the little details outweighed even mine!
No connection other than a happy customer etc.

I've only heard positive things if that counts for anything.
