#1 Recommendations for upholstery supplies needed

Hello,

Anyone have experience of either of these companies, or can recommend a suppiler? I looking the restore the seats of my S2 FHC.

Hi Dave.....i can recomend Aldridge......i had new covers made but fitted them myself.....if you are going to diy i have some good step by step photos of how to do the seats.........pm me your mail address if required....another company with a great reputation is BAS

I bought from Skinner's. The kit is in transit right now. I will post more as soon as I have it in hand.

:edit: received the Skinner kit on 19 Dec. Well packed, complete and looks beautiful. I also bought door pulls and door card inserts. Probably will take me to Spring to install. Ill post again then.

I highly recommend Aldridge trimming, they have made two lots of seats for us, the orginal ones and some MX5 ones and they did a wonderful job both times. Here is a picture of them side by side.

Aldridge are good. I have used 2 of their kits.

FWIW they are the trimmers Car SOS use.

Watched the SOS episode last night on an AC Acera.....they had work done by an upholsterer on the seats it wasnt Aldridge

They use Aldridge for proper interior work and others for repairs etc.
(The guy you see is Cliff as the owner of Aldridge is too shy to show himself on TV)

Seat diaphragms and foams, backrest fibres, and the rubber rings for the backs.
