Anyone know of a product that removes scratches from glass? I've tried jewellers rouge to no avail!

I have a glass scratch kit and have used it . Up to a point it works, but all it is is a mechanical means of applying a corundum paste . However, I urge caution! It tends to alter the optical quality of the glass if the scratch is at all deep
