#1 S1.5 open headlights too covered
Hello all, this subject must of been mentioned lots of times before but here goes. I have s1.5 car with open headlights small mouth air intake. How would you go about converting too covered headlights. I have read somewhere that the 1.5 open lights still sit down and don’t site high above bodywork like s2-3 do. Is it possible that the s1 chrome and glass fits over or is it a full bodywork job. Everything else on my car is s1 except the lights so would ideally like to convert. Any help most welcome

Monocoque metalworks sell a kit. You can do it with a repaint and a bit of welding.
I did it.

It would be well worth your time to call Chuck at monocoque metalworks and get some advice. I believe that his kit for the 1.5 is installable with pop rivets if your car does not need repainting otherwise. He is quite approachable and provides excellent customer support.
