#1 Car mats

Post by malcolm » Sun Jan 23, 2022 10:34 am

Who do people use to buy car mats from? SNG website seems to show limited (and expensive!) options. Carmats4u sounds dodgy, but good price, and say their mats are tailored for E Types 1971 - 1975; if so, must also be ok for my 1969 2+2 I imagine?

This is they: https://www.carmats4u.com/jaguar-e-type ... CIQAvD_BwE

Any advice/experiences warmly received
Malcolm

I stand to be corrected but I think the series 3 had a floor mounted throttle pedal which may differ from yours and thus affect the Matt?
Series 1 FHC purchased 40 years ago. Courted my wife in it.
Series 1 2+2 when the kids were small now sold.
Series 1.5 OTS in opalescent maroon, Californian car. My retirement present.

Confirm Tim is correct. The accelerator pedal on the series 3 is floor mounted.

The SNG mat sold for the S3 had no cutout for the pedal and I had to cut my own. That’s some time ago now but was my experience.
