#1 Trimming

Hi all
I’m getting to the point of thinking about getting my ‘62 OTS trimmed including having the soft top properly refitted and covered.
I understand that GB classic trim are known for getting a good “hood fit”?
Has anyone got any experience they could share?
Thanks
Robbie

GB Trim fitted a hood to my S2 OTS about 5 years ago. Really good job, fits perfectly, adjusted door windows to fit as well. Still looks perfect.

GB Classic Trim fully trimmed my car and did a great job. My original hood frame had to be reshaped to fit a new bodyshell. Took a lot of time and patience but the result was excellent and I would fully recommend them. The car is carcooned at present and sorry but don't have a suitable hood-up photo to illustrate.

I too can vouch for the team up at GB Classic Trim. I had a new hood fitted to my 3.8 OTS a couple of years ago and they did a superb job (both inside and out). They refurbished the frame, trial fitted everything and then trimmed it to perfection (probably better than when it left the factory). They also re-fitted the lead-shot "tube" between the rear two ribs to prevent wind drumming. Some photos below:

Phil, could you please say how they refitted the lead-shot tube: by (double-)sewing it to the hood?
