Hello Phil - number 2 nozzle , clean up metal and remove chrome (obviously) . I would use a piece of 2mm brass so I could direct the flame at a heavier material and spread the heat - if you know what I mean. Mix the flux with a tiny amount of water and apply to all surfaces. When finished sand down the thicker metal to the same as the original. Practice makes perfect - good luck.
