1961 brake cylinders disassembling

Hello,

I removed the original brake piston housings from the brake calipers. All four pistons can be moved freely in the brake cylinders and can also be pulled approx. 5mm out of the cylinders. There is no visible rust. However, the pistons cannot be completely removed. I have the impression that something is blocking in the middle of the unit, there where the adjustemt rod sits. I dipped one brake cylinder in denatured alcohol for a while, but without any success.

Can someone give me a hint? I do not want to damage anything.

Compressed air from the bleed fitting side, keeping the inlet side blocked.

Thanks. It worked. The internal sealing ring prevented removing the piston. Everything was freely movable on the adjustment rod area itself.
