In my quest to find yet another oil leak from my Series 2, this time from the rear of the engine, does anyone have any experience of UV dye?

Hi Simon,
I suspect you don't need a UV dye in the oil as most oils fluoresce anyway. However, if you have a leak already the background may disguise the source of the leak if you're not able to clean it well enough.
