#1 What is this part?

Post by dmarsh2426 » Fri Jul 25, 2025 6:56 pm

I am putting my '67 OTS back together after a repaint and I have been prepping the parts before I put them back. Unfortunately, I left this on the workbench and found it yesterday. Of course it was not marked which component it went with. I now can not remember where it goes?
I thought it may be part of the rear engine mount, but it doesn't look like it.
I have just put the front pulleys and alternater on, but I cant see that it would fit there.
It doesnt seem to be part of the transmission mount.
It has a center brass piece that fits into the nut on the bottom and the brass piece is threaded.
Please let me know if you can identify this.

Thanks,
Dan

It looks like the bulkhead throttle linkage mounting with an adapted brass centre (normally rubber grommet).

:yeahthat:
Series 1 FHC purchased 50 years ago. Courted my wife in it.
Series 1 2+2 when the kids were small now sold.
Series 1.5 OTS in opalescent maroon, Californian car. My retirement present.
