#1 Rear Radius Arm Bushes.

Post by SimonBrown » Fri Dec 19, 2025 5:03 pm

Just about to replace my rear radius arm bushes.
From SNGB there is a huge price differential between genuine Jaguar and aftermarket. The smaller bushes are £46.18, or £5.77 each!!
I would normally go for genuine, but with such a difference, would anyone know if it is worth it?
Thank you
Simon

I purchased some non original bushes ( not from SNGB) within a couple of years they started to split
Absolute rubbish.

Replaced with those marked metalastic . I say marked as metalastic because in today’s world who knows what’s really genuine. However they have done 5 years without concern

The same occurred with steering rack mounts. I now stick to what I believe to be known brands.

Not an easy thing to change if the cheap ones fall apart.

I'd go with genuine.

Hi
The poly bush will reduce the famous rear axle steering, specially the big end.
I have used it now for some years.
Also the front end is poly bush that improve handling.
