#1 Zues front pads

Post by Stevemorris » Thu Aug 27, 2026 11:50 am

Hi all,

I am into the front brakes on the car at the moment.

I need front pads, and the car has early (Iron) Zues calipers. Anyone know what pads they are? They look very familiar to me, like maybe XJ pads?

Thanks,

Steve.

Have you tried calling Zeus - they are usually very helpful?

I'm struggling to remember which pads were supplied with my kit...

I must have been on the phone to them as you were typing, thanks!

They were most helpful, lady there gave me the item codes for all the pads they use for my car,

LP17 Delphi
BPP1011 Borg & Beck
DP108 EBC
MGB522 Mintex

Mintex are the ones they normally use, good road pad apparently, but they are struggling to get stock?

They are currently supplying Delphi. I felt obliged to order a set from them of course. Pin kit was extra but for pads, kit and delivery it was £48 all in!

I did a search and Aston use Mintex, they are about, but not in the quantities Zues need I guess?

Thanks!

Steve.

I'm pretty sure that the ones they supplied earlier this year with the kit were mintex. I also use mintex road pads on my Lotus Elise - they are pretty good.
