#1 replacement engine frames

Post by rod g » Wed Jul 11, 2012 11:39 am

Greetings All,
Can anyone recommend the best source for a new set of engine frames. I'm wondering about the quality of the replacements currently on offer as I don't have the opportunity to view them prior to parting with my money.
Thanks Rod :?:

Only one source to consider - ETypeFabs. http://www.etypefabs.com/frames.htm

Hi Rod,
I can only echo what David has said.....E-Type Fabs are the only frames to buy. I have a brand-new set sitting in my workshop, (in Oz), but regrettably wrong side of the country (Perth, Western Australia) if you wanted a look before buying........Workmanship is superb, and dimensionally spot on, I wouldn't consider any other supplier.....
Regards.
Norman.

Rod,

I have just ordered the bonnet support frame from E-Type Fabs. It will be a couple of weeks until it arrives. You are welcome to come and have a look.

I'm in Sydney - northern parts

Thanks for all the replies. I was looking at Robey's but it seems that E Fabs are the way to go. Thanks also for the offers to view. Stef, I may take you up on it since you are close - I'm in Newcastle.

Cheers Rod
