For what its worth. Have the bits blasted/cleaned. 2k Epoxy primer which is available in a multitude of colours. Flat all primed items and 2k solid colour
on top of that.

My IRS as been done 3yr and a quick wipe over every month or so and it comes up like new. Just my experience..........

ok, just received back the IRS parts from Powder Coating, and very lovely they look too! He has done a superb job, BUT, in spite of my instruction, some of the holes have been powder coating where they should not have been! argh
I have bought myself an adjustable reamer for the inner wishbone holes which I HOPE will remove just the PC and take no metal away as i will be using with a tap wrench. Also, in spite of my CLEARLY ( thats is what ever you do DO NOT PC this area) he has managed to get some PC on the tapers of the top Diff bolt female cones area. So whilst I don't think that any of this is going to be too difficult to address, has anyone used a dremel with success on removing PC, and if so what tool did you use? I would have thought that a sanding barrel will not be man enough, and perhaps the grinding stones will be good as they seem very sacrificial and should not attack the metal. Anyway, as always, your thoughts are much appreciated.

Hi Andrew.

I had similar issues with powder coating. I used the dremel grinding stones on internal diameters - I could hear the grinding sound change once down to the metal so I didn't grind anything away that I shouldn't have. I used stanley knife/scalpel on outside diameters & threads.
