#1 Behind OTS rear light

Post by Mich7920 » Mon May 09, 2016 5:38 pm

Hi all,
My OTS don't have this part behind it's rear lights !?
Of course I look at " the factory fit" but is all the series 1 OTS have it ?
If yes, It could prove that it has already been restored.
Mine had been bilt the 20th of june 1963
Thanks
Mich

Mich,

Just removed my taillights and they have the foam gaskets. I have ordered replacements from Barratts. Will check if they have them fitted.

I have looked at three 3.8 OTS and they do not have the body metal and foam seals.

The drawings and part numbers appear in the August 1961 J30 SPC so they would have been standard on all cars after that date and MAY have been on some or all of the first 500.
