Does anyone know how many teeth it has?
The 4.2 series 1 engine, 2 hole version.
I ask because during cam timing with #6 piston at TDC I am able to get the cam alignment gauge to the point where it is touching on one face of the head and with about 10thou clearance on the other.
I calculate about 1/4 of a degree or so of cam rotation which translates to 1/2 a degree at the crank. Basically the cams are about 1/2 a degree behind the crank.
Timing chain is set up just about right. No desire to go tighter.
Not sure if it's worth changing. I can't imagine there are more than 360 teeth on the adjuster.
Anyone know for sure?

That's fine.
I seem to remember calculating about 3/4 of one crank degree per tooth.
