Guys,
I've been rechecking everything and I'm afraid I have a confession to make. I measured the gaps in inches because that's what my feeler gauges are and the shims in mm because that's what my micrometer speaks.
I them calculated back to inches for ordering purposes and apparently multiplied instead of dividing.
Having now done it properly, the shims I need are between 93 and 99.5.
The only thing I can say in my defence is that my Maths 'O' level was a very long time ago.
Be gentle with me.
