Thanks Steve. It's difficult to zoom in to see really clear detail, but thanks. I think my solution above for the coil looks very similar, but I'll see what I can do about fixing the relay to the picture frame. I certainly won't be drilling it!

Hi Andrew.....my frame had a tapped thread on top of the frame for the bracket.....Same with a friends 2+2....Steve

I can now reveal the origin of the solonoid in the first picture. It is from a Ford Galaxie that belongs to the mechanic who was working on my car at the time. The item got mixed up with my things. He came ?round today and I was able to return it to him when he recognised it. I wish I hadn?t spent so much time cleaning and painting it now!
