Thanks everyone for the comments and advice.

Peter - I only checked the nuts were tight or not, I didn't overtighten (honest guv).
I'm ordering new gaskets from SNG as I'm getting a mass of other trinkets.

Ace was ok. There was a Series 1, 1.5 and 3 there so together we made a full set. Had a quick chat and an (expensive) coffee before heading back from the gather storm clouds.
