I have my phone set with the speedometer app.
My Speedo is off 10 mph because I originally was going to a 288 rear with the 4 speed at the time.
So here we go.......If it stops raining I will post a video or videos through Bob .
Stats
MICHELIN XWX TIRES 70/205/15
SET AT 30 LBS
6 INCH MWS TRIPLE LACE COMP SPOKE WHEELS
GAZ SUSPENSION ALL AROUND SET AT NUMBER 2
RIDE HEIGHT SET AT 16 INCHES ON THE DOOR SILL
GUY BROAD BOX WITH 5TH GEAR AT 0.763.1
REAREND 307
IGNITION 1 2 3 SET AT NUMBER 2 FOR ADVANCE
I dont think there is much more to add.
Stay tuned.

To Really button up the job
I have trusted Rob Beeres with many upgrades that never fail, SO far.
Here is one that should wrap up the suspension
7/8th front sway bar
Stock in the rear
Just to take out the float in the turns

Yes, I have used the thicker S3 torsion (sway bar) on the front of my OTS for years. Works really well on Alpine passes.

Hi Joey,
Thanks for your great blog which I've followed throughout.
Let us know if the thicker front sway bar increases understeer and has the results you're looking for.
From your ratios for the five speed, they look to be shorter in first, second and third than the original.
Yours,
Phil

Well
Alpine passes maybe we go😃!!!
Just installed the bar.
With the gas adjustable bumped up one turn to 3.
The sway bar makes the turns soooooo flat.
Great Great Great addition!
It’s the quality of the parts once again
Poly bushes with a collar so now the bar and dog legs DONT clunk!

This thing might be going on a world trip!
The New sweet spot is 60 in 5th at 2,000 rpm on the nose
It’s a Lexus it’s so quiet but Strong not bogging.
Tomorrow I get the Mangoletsi kit but that’s another thread👍🏾

Clearly you are not driving it properly! Call yourself Italian

I was getting 14mpg driving with spirit through France, 23.5 when driving on the Autoroute at 150kph. This with 2.88 different on 5 speed. :bouncyyellow:

If your at 23 at 150 klm
With my 307 I have to be in the same range at 90 mph
Once in a blue moon I downshift just to gt the revs up NEAR 3,000!
Just to clear the plugs but even that is not needed
Having fun…..

Joey,
How many "clicks" total on your shocks? On all six of my Gaz shocks, there's 19 clicks from mild to firm. I've got them set at 10 clicks up from mild.

I also set the rear springs so that I had 22" on the left rear arch. I then set the right rear springs to the same dimension measuring about 3" from the center of the lower shock bolt to the bottom of big adjustable collar. With all four shocks set the same, the right rear is about 22 1/2". Front left is 23" and front right is 23 1/2". I haven't touched the torsion bars so they're probably set as they were when new.

So the right side is 1/2" taller than the left but I plan to drive it around a bit more before any more adjustments are made to see if anything settles in. I doubt it will but worth a shot.

The car feels much more planted than the way I had it set up before. I had the rear springs and all six shocks set way too soft.

Thanks
Dave
