That’s okay
I had my coil springs set WAY to high.
Then set to 22 inches as well
The trick is the balance from spring To shock
Good luck
Yess 22 is my preferred height

Update been driving everyday 80 miles to work and back
The transmission is so bedded in I forget I’m in 4th coming to a red light!
As it beds in 5th is only needed on the highway at 60/70/80
To be honest 60 with this box is like the old 50 without the wind up or leaks🤣
Tweaking the suspension and I still need the rack to dial in the alignment but everyone is out except my guy
3 week back up!
Enjoy the pics!

O. M. G
The rake
The drive
I now hit 1,000 miles on the box
Second and third are so soft and long that I don’t need fourth till 50!
5th is now highway only but with the 307 and the 5 speed there was a learning curve!
Everything revs so much lower that at first it feels sloppy but it’s not it’s just that the car is more relaxed!

This is how long I’m dedicated to Jaguar and the E Type!
Only a certain group will understand this!
Typical Gtjoey
I had two Etypes
One stock and the other Hopped Up !

Its funny how marketing TODAY does not understand the legacy effect! Including Jaguar today....
We all grew up with those cars in the 50/60/70s
We all own some of those cars still today. Life size because of the inspiration when we were kids.
There is ZERO inspiration today on any of the models
gtjoey1314
look at my car box, ferrari gto, ford gt40, jaguar , mustang,
Iown a 2005 FORD GT, ETYPE JAG , MY KID HAS A 65 MUSTANG.........

The only people that still carry the spark of inspiration are the guys at Jaguar Classic. It is worth paying them a visit to explore their huge 'vault' of Land Rover and Jaguar classics and concepts.

Had family to take care of......
When you take your E TYPE to full restoration at Jaguar Heritage , 99 percent are now fitted with
123 ignition
mws competition wire wheels with 205/70/15 and a host of other minor upgrades which most of us have done.
Again, The Guy Broad box is wonderful.
ALOT of work if you do it yourself but THEIR clutch along with my lightened and balanced one piece flywheel my clutch feels like a Honda NOT A 1952 DEISEL TRUCK.
I can battle the freeway SUV monsters pretty well now......5th gives me the edge to pull away when mommy is not paying attention from the rear!

Well you work hard enough and ONE day .....ONE day your dreams might come true......
IMHO, Its a game changer that once your driving as I am,you forget they way you had to drive in the past....
You can come down to a traffic light in 4th gear.

It’s just wonderful
My car now sits in the barn and now with a RUG underneath for dampness
No pans no cardboard no stick of old oil burning on the pipes.
Yes getting to 4 th now is a stretch
5 th is fast highway only!

I will attempt to find out and let you know....

Definitely from Guy Broad 0.763:1, I made an error initially.
