#1 Bonnet Hardware

I'm looking into producing a stainless hardware bonnet assembly kit, would just like to confirm thickness and diameter of shims between center panel and wings.

Julian.

Julian,

The bonnet centre panel to wing spacer washers are 19mm in diameter and 2mm thick.

Hope that helps,

Simon

You couldn't resist could you?

Yes they are imperial.

3/4 inch diameter ( 19.05mm)
5/64 inch thick. ( 1.984mm)

Happy?

Don't worry Steve, manufacturing to the nearest 0.05mm would be precision engineering compared to some E type bits I've bought recently. They seem to work to + or minus 5 to 50mm and then assembled the stuff blindfolded and one handed while hungover.
