Post by dal2.0litrefrogeye » Tue Jan 31, 2017 1:36 pm

Hi all. does anyone know how long I should make height setting tool if I want to set the initial height of the car and inch lower than a standard series 2 . Bearing in mind I have got a rob Beere adjustable reaction plate in place to fine tune once bonnet (aliminium) and other parts are in place . Cheers for any ideas .Darren

What I have done in your situation is set the TBs with the standard bar and set the adjustable tie plate to the maximum high setting so that you have as much scope as possible to drop the front end down. There is a fair bit of adjustment in those plates.
