Heated Rear Window Relay

Can anyone tell me where the heated rear window relay on S2 is located.

I seem to remember it is behind the glove box, though without removing mine (which you would need to do) I can't be absolutely sure

Hi Whats your name....if you drop down the center instrument panel its right in front in the middle.....it had a large red wire going to it.......its purpose is purely to dim the heated rear window lamp when you switch on your lights... it does not work as you would expect to take a small current and switch on a large one

I'll stand corrected by Steve for the location. He's correct about what it does.
When I had a problem with my HRW it took quite a while to trace a bad connection at the window itself. It was an open circuit on the connection to the wires in the window and I had to make up another. A bit fiddly, but well worth having a working HRW.

Hi Geoff...just done a quick search here.....on relay location ..found your old post...your heated window relay was behind your tacho......so there must be various locations between the models/years...keep meaning to do a little diagram of where all mine are becaus i keep forgetting
