#1 Engine frames

Post by S90ttb » Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:01 pm

Hi all after some advice please I need to replace my engine frames on my series 2 2+2
I know there are good and bad frames available and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations, I know the ones from e type fabs are good and I have seen some at M&C wilkinson ltd which look a good price but am unsure if they are a good fit, does anyone have any experience with them? Or is the price difference with the ones at etype fabs justifiable they cost £3000 +vat for both sides, picture frame and bonnet frame
As I don't want to upset anybody please feel free to pm me
Thanks Scott

I purchased a set of frames from E-Type Fabs a number of years ago and they were absolutely top-notch items.

Hi Moe
Thanks for your reply, looks like I will be taking that route as I am unable to find any information on M&Cs

Scott,

though I've not bought any frames (yet), I do have read quite a few threads on the topic and don't recall reading anything about any bad frames. I wouldn't hesitate using any of the usual vendors, especially if on a budget. E-Type fabs will give you bragging rights though.

E type fabs frames fit. Others are, challenging. Having experienced others, we only fit ETF frames.
