is there a list of what fits the old 4.2 jaguar ,a gearbox that is not crazy price,new stuff willing to try ,thanks :thankyouyellow:

Hi Frenchi.....you need to explain a bit more i dont understand your question.....what old 4.2 are you talking about..an E type or XJ6 etc......what do you mean new stuff......etc....Steve

Hi
If referring to a swb car then the moss non overdrive, the standard 4.2 4 synchro box and a plethora of 5 speed conversions, some with varying degrees of shell mods to accommodate. If the car in question is lwb then again various 5 speeders with the above caveat plus 4 speed manual overdrive jaguar saloon boxes. Note again if lwb and a manual the shell will require metal surgery to fit an auto and if auto shell moving to manual the trans tunnel is wider so less space for the third pedal and your left foot, if rhd.

Lots of positives being said regarding the Jeremy Broad 5 speeder.

As said above please provide a more detailed description for a clearer response.

sorry about that its a ;ate 60s 420 limo trying to see what box will fit some say getrag what one will bell housing fit do you need a kit some one must have the know how about this :fingerscrossed:
