#1 remote bleed nipples

I have the idea that I have seen a photo recently of the extra piping added to move the rear caliper brake bleed nipples to an accessible location.

Was that on here or maybe in the JEC or E-type club magazines?

The search function on the forum here doesn't seem to be doing anything, or maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me towards the picture I'm looking for.

Regards,

Dave.

Hi , I have moved my bleed nipples to just behindf the access plate behind the rear seat ( 2+2 ). I used a short length of pipe to a Tee piece which is bolted to the subframe. Bleed nipple in one of the Tee outlets, blanking plug in the other. Very simple and accessable.

Hi Dave,

Good to meet you at Spa, we enjoyed our trip. There's some pictures of how I extended the bleeders here:

Thanks guys.

Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of inspection plates for access through the floor (OTS) so I can only route the pipes downwards for access from underneath.

It shouldn't be too complicated. I mainly wanted to see what fittings people have used

Regards,

Dave.

My remote bleed pipes go to the underside. Nothing complicated, just extension pipes fitted instead of the existing nipples with nipples on the ends. A couple of clips secure them to the IRS cage. I will take some photos and post.
