Hi
I`m about to start assembling the car back together.
There will be some custom work to be done on the wiring harness anyways since I will be using EFI system and different fans, fuel pump etc.
The car is converted from series 2 to series 1 with regards to lights and swichtes.
What is the best starting point for a wiring harness, I was thinking maybe series 1,5 would be the closest with regards to wiper motor, fan, dynamo etc?

If you go to the Autosparks website you will see that they sell each loom for each model separately. You should be able to mix and match the looms that you want, depending on what switches, lights, radiator fans etc you want.
You'll probably have to do some modification but it would be easier than making a loom from scratch.
