Hello everybody!

Probably a strange question but anyway. Does anyone have registration papers (V5C) for sale stating a Jaguar Sport registered Before 1966?

Never heard of a Jaguar "Sport". Can you provide more information? All V5's I have seen have the correct description but back in 1966 someone could well have registered it as that rather than E-Type. Strange though given the high profile of the car at the time.

Quite a few Replica/kit cars are registeted a Jaguar Sports......where parts from a Jaguar doner car (xj6, etc) have been used to recreate one of the older Jaguar models..C..D.,etc....the DVLA quite often record tbem as Jaguar Sport.....my concern is why do you want to purchase registration documents........if you build a replica now then it must go through the goverment IVA procedure if its for use in the UK....if you dont actually have the doner car then it can only be registered on a Q plate.....I currently building a Realm C type....and see from you posts that your building a C... You are correct Steve regarding the name of the car thats at least what was possible to register in uk in the old days. But this is not intended for uk so I thought a question wouldn’t harm

So are you after a UK registration and if so for what purpose......are you intending to use on another vehicle....Steve
