For my 1968 S1.5 OTS (LHD). has anyone any pics of which hole in the engine side bulkhead, where the coke cable (s) emerge. Search on Tinternet did not throw up any usefull pics.

It's a little hard to see, but the choke cable lies beneath the fabric wrapped vacuum hose and exits the bulkhead through that same hole. That black boxy item at the top of the photo is the windscreen wiper motor if that helps you orient the location.
