What do you need to buy to change the dip direction on the E Type and where do you get them from?

Do you have to remove the front glass to stick them onto the actual headlight unit?

Personally I do not change anything (being a Luddite I don't even put a GB sticker on - "like this could be anything other than a British car!") as I rarely, if ever, drive at night abroad or indeed in the UK in the E-Type. Lucas did supply 'Le Mans' headlights which dipped centrally so they may be worth considering if it bothers you.

Tony : because the French rozzers can be difficult if they feel like it, I do put lamp converters on, consisting of strips of insulating tape covering the lamps between 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock as you look at them. Yes, this is correct, even though it is counter intuitive, because it is that part of the moulded glass which governs the spread of the beam to the left hand side of the car which causes dazzle if one is driving on the right. I have only ever taken my S2 abroad, so I have not experimented with sticking it to the outside glass on the S1, but frankly it is more cosmetic than anything else
