I have just received our S1 3.8 OTS back following its IRS being renovated at Southern Classics at Twickenham. A superb job done and would fully recommend Steve and his team to fellow forum members. In terms of the work performed (as per photos below).
- IRS cage and major components bead blasted and powder coated.
- Vapour blasting of those components which have a natural finish.
- Replating where required.
- New Boge Shock Absorbers (painted BS633 with Girling stickers) and standard springs
- Differential seals replaced (no major internal work required) and painted to correct colour
- Coopercraft calipers fitted with bleed extension pipes for ease of future bleeding
- Handbrake mechanism overhauled
- New discs (edges painted to avoid corrosion) and pads
- New bushes and other wear/tear components
- New hub splines
- Reinstatement of original half-shaft shrouds and re-plated Cheney clips
