Has anyone ever made steel brackets to fit a Kenlowe to their car’s radiator? I’ve got a newly recored rad. and before I push the plastic ties through the fins I thought I’d investigate this alternative.

I used the Kenlowe plastic ties on my alloy rad 18 years ago and after 50,000 miles nothing has moved, no damage and no reason to seek an alternative method of attachment.

David, Thanks for this. I have experience of two Kenlowe installations. The first, on a Dolomite Sprint, wore through one of the caliparies in the core of a high efficiency rad. My E has had a Kenlowe for over 60k Miles. But the core was a cheaper version. My new core is a high efficiency core, so I was wondering if I should.......
