#1 Gearbox spring

Hey, technical drawings shows the spring with only the underside supported on a rubber mount. Should there be one in both ends to prevent scratching? Pictures below.

Just the one spring seat at the base.

Strangely the parts book for the series 2 shows rubber seats on top and bottom. Maybe they changed the number for the later models ?

I've always put rubbers top and bottom. Supposed to stop the spring rattling.

NVH: Noise, bad vibes and harshness. If it’s not your night. all of these can easily happen to any man thoughtlessly bouncing heavy weight on a rubber. Ask the Americans.
