#1 strange front upright

Wondering is anybody knows where the upper front upright belongs to?
All the ones I have ever seen are like the one below. I know that the S2 has a larger distance for the caliper mounting threats but on the upper is is just the same as for the usual early calipers.
The above upright seems to be a bit shorter. Are those for racing?
