Hi all , anyone had this problem?
My mates got a 2000 mile fresh total restoration S2 ots ,
His problem is the fluid is syphoning from the brake master reservoir to the servo master cylinder reservoir, this is a RHD car , everything is new , all be it as with most restos sat for a while before being put into service , ( the brakes work well !!)
this is happening when the car is even not
used for a while ( a month or so ish) it syphons so much it starts to push the fluid out of servo master cylinder reservoir,
Cheers for any ideas , we're both thinking brake servo is letting by , ???

Yes it is.
The seal in the middle of the shuttle in the servo is not sealing.

If the slave reservoir is lower down than the master reservoir, then it'll just overflow eventually as it is gravity feeding straight through.

If it were only happening when the brakes were applied/released, then there is some hope that packing the reservoirs with red grease and rebleeding would lubricate the seal enough for it not to stick, but that is not what you have reported in this case.

Servo out and seal fixed before you wash the car in brake fluid I'm afraid.

Yes I agree. I had fitted one of the shuttle seals the wrong way round
