I found someone to remake the body tag for my ‘62 OTS
I have the one from my FHC for comparison

The new one is made fro steel not aluminium but gets painted anyway!

I also need a body tag for my 67 ots. as the original is missing. Did you need to send Todd any information on sizes of tag, font etc. or is he knowledgeable about the Etype body tags. I checked his website and it appears that engine tags are the main product he supplies?

He knows the size and the shape required and also how far apart the fixing holes are located
Font-wise ..it’s not the absolutely perfect shape but once painted I think it’ll be terrific. He knew that the letter was finer and smaller than the numbers and set over to the left
I sent him photo of my other tag and dimensions as well
He’s really helpful and answers emails quickly

You could try Ajautocraft (Stourbridge) I believe they might do them too. I think you may need proof of ownership but try asking them

Todd is brilliant, quick and VERY reasonable price wise. His tags are perfect, just tell him the number, he knows all the rest.

What would be the exact location on a 68 s1.5 FHC?

I’m reasonably sure the tag moved in late S1 cars from inside the left bulkhead by the back door to behind the rear number plate?
