Positive earth 3.8 has a non-charging dynamo where new brushes have been fitted and it has been polarised.

Originally thought a faulty RB340 control box but this has been substituted for known healthy item, still no charge.

I think the generator needs a 12v feed through the control box before it can charge and fuses all check out OK.

My electrics knowledge is just above zero so where do I start looking.

Broken wire unlikely as loom is new.

All ideas appreciated.

Polarise it a couple more times. I have had this problem changing from + to - earth.
