Can anyone help with a colour for the seat frames on a 3.8? I can’t find anything in the knowledge base. Mine were a kind of dove grey. Thanks. Chris.

Primer colour. Doesn't matter; you can't see them.

Chris,
Yep, BS381C-694 Dove Grey is the colour I used - perfect match. Incidentally I believe the factory only painted the lower area which is visible under the seat cushion & underside of the seat if removed. The “vertical” backrest behind the moquette etc. was left raw steel .... well, that’s what I found when I removed the trim on mine. I suspect this is factory correct as I also found the body number in crayon on the backside of the leather panels. Of course, I chose to paint the whole shell prior to re-trimming.
Cheers

Noli, could you post some photos you have taken during dismantling? Originality is always interesting, even if one does not always follow this path.

No problem. There’s quite a few more if you need them - I photographed the entire strip down as I went along.
