#1 SERIES 1 HEADLIGHT CONNECTOR

Post by JAGNUT67 » Thu Apr 02, 2020 4:52 pm

I just replaced a LH headlight scoop and disconnected the wires to the Bakelite connector to the sealed beam lamp. I am unsure of which wire goes to which of the 3 spades on the back of sealed beam unit.I thought I had identified on dismantling looking at the front of the sealed beam unit, as: 12o'clock-Blue/red. 3 o'clock-black. 9 o'clock-Blue/white.Is this correct? Logic says that the centre spade at 12 o 'clock would be black (earth) Help pls anyone.

I don't know if this will help, the front is a bit dark, but if you blow it up, you can just see the red/blue wire is in the top connection, the black to the right and the blue/white to the left.
