I did have had the TB’s off and now finally have the car on all 4 wheels without the bonnet.
It should stand like this for some weeks to settle the ride hight but I need to compensate for the bonnet weight. I’ve searched using “bonnet weight” but can’t find any accurate bonnet weight.
Seems to be somewhere between 47 to 70 kg?
Accurate bonnet weight question
#2 Re: Accurate bonnet weight question
Sorry, don't know, but I reckon it's a lot more than 47kg! 70kg sounds closer.

#3 Re: Accurate bonnet weight question
The bonnet is easily liftable by three men ( one of whom at the nose is only really there to provide fore and aft trim ) so that I would expect the weight not to exceed 70 kgs and probably in reality be rather less than that. Let's say 60 kgs as a compromise
