Hi there
My car is a UK car from new, with Heritage certificate showing its original UK registration number and I have lots of other history. Vin plate, frame and body stampings and rear tag all match the certificate.
A French Yachtsman won the car in a sailing race in 1986 and took the car back to France where it stayed for the next 30 years.
On return to the UK, the car was given a different reg. number.
The original one still shows on the DVLA site as being relevant to my car.
Is there someone in the Jaguar or E-Type world that can help with asking DVLA to put my car back on its original number please? I understand there may be fees involved.
As ever, all help very gratefully received.
Thank you and best wishes to all.
Help with DVLA?
