I’m looking for part C19007 which attaches the breather pipe to inlet Manifold stud. SNGB don’t do it

Are they available anywhere or would part C16963 (rearmost bracket holding water return pipe to block)be worth getting and”adapting” to suit?

I don't think they're available. Like you suggested, I used a water return pipe bracket and adapted it to fit. It wasn't very difficult.
The early 4.2s have a similar arrangement to the 3.8s but for some reason it's a slightly different bracket with a different part number.

Don’t suppose you or anyone out there has a photo of the bracket that I need ?
Maybe dimensions eg distance of hole to secure it from the crooked end
Where does it attach??

Here's an original 4.2 bracket. I don't have it any more because someone managed to lose it for me.

I think the 3.8 may be fitted to an inlet manifold stud instead of the position on the 4.2
