Dear all,

looking at applying suitable protective coating to underside of body and in wheel arches etc.

I have WAXOYLE but i think thats more suited to box areas and cavities.

Was proposing to use 'SCHUTZ' , a flexible 'rubberised' coating.'

Is this OK or is there a better alternative?

cheers

I had U-Pol Raptor applied to mine, tinted to match the paint colour. It has a slight textured look, but this can be reduced or increased depending on what you want.
The prep and application need to be done to suppliers spec to make sure it provides the long lasting protection. If it isn’t, it loses the benefits over other types of underseal.

I used Dinitrol on mine as I did on my 340 many years ago and it is still holding up.

This site is pretty good for stocking a good range of paints/waxes etc. Pretty informative too. I've used the Epoxy chassis paint which was excellent although a bit too glossy.
