Electronic Rev Limiter

Anybody fitted an electronic rev limiter to their E-Type? Since fitting the new Classic Fabs exhaust with the silencer venturi's I am finding my engine is much easier revving and spins up very quickly to beyond 5,000rpm. I have Dave Rawle's electronic tach conversion but I am convinced I am going above the red line in second and third on a spirited sprint from the line (aka traffic lights) - no time to even look down at the tach I have checked out both the Lumenition and Pertronix units and the latter seems the most flexible as it is user adjustable versus factory set of the Lumenition. both cost the same at about ?100.
