#1 Renovation of your Jaguar Leather

Post by Phil » Tue Apr 01, 2008 8:03 pm

Hello

Last year, I decided to redye the backseats of my E Type, as they were
looking old and not so clean (altough I cleaned them
and used Gliptone for 5 years now). The leather was just
old and showing its age. I found a dye that I could order with the
Jaguar biscuit color. I first tried a small part (center of back
seats , showing the most its age)and was happy to see the
difference very quickly !

Easy application, 2-3 thin layers and you see the difference.
Once opened you can keep the product for 2-3 years (at room
temperature). You can still feel the leather texture after the
product dried and you can keep using Gliptone for the leather
maintenance and smell !

You will find a picture showing before (photo above)/after (phote below)result her below .
They sell it on ebay (dynamix)and have a website :
http://www.dynamix.uk.com

mmh , yes  , it initially a Porsche trim dyeing specialist.

no affiliation, just happy with the product so far.
After one year, it has kept the "new" aspect and so I decided to order more and go on and renew the rest of the leather what is in need of TLC :) , spring work is coming up !

best regards
