Hi how does the chrome bead fit to the cantrail on a series 1 2+2?
There is one clip at the bend above the A post but nothing else. Should there be more clips?
Also how is the cantrali attached to the body? Mine is by small ( 2mm) self tapers that screw through the outer seal channel. Should the cantrail be fitted before the seal channel?

Hi Steve...on my S2 2+2 the chrome on the cant rail was held in place by two of the clips you show.....one on the bend like yours and one at the rear......you should be able to see a rivet hole if yours had two......the chrome is just slotted on and was pinched in places to hold it.....yes also just held in place with self tap screws
